Terms and license agreement

1. The license

EraseMyBG is licensed, not sold. A purchased license key lets one person use EraseMyBG on up to 3 Macs they own or control. Copies without an activated key may be used to preview results only.

2. Your images

Everything you process stays yours. We claim no rights to your images or the results you create, and you may use them for any lawful purpose, including commercial work, without attribution.

3. What you may not do

• Resell, rent, lend, sublicense or share your license key.
• Remove, disable or work around the license checks.
• Reverse engineer or decompile the app, except where the law allows it despite this restriction.
• Use the app to process images you don’t have the right to use.

4. Purchases and payment

Orders are processed by Dodo Payments, our reseller and merchant of record, which is responsible for payment processing, sales tax and VAT, and invoicing. Prices are shown at checkout, including any applicable tax. The purchase is a one-time payment, not a subscription.

5. Updates

Your purchase includes all updates to version 1.x at no extra cost. Future major versions may be offered as a paid upgrade; your version 1 license keeps working.

6. Refunds

You can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase. See the refund policy for details. A refund deactivates the license key.

7. System requirements and availability

EraseMyBG requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later and Apple silicon (M1 or later). Activation needs an internet connection once; after that the app works offline.

8. No warranty

EraseMyBG is provided “as is”. Background removal is automatic and can make mistakes, so check results before you rely on them. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your license.

10. Termination

This license ends automatically if you break these terms or if your payment is refunded or reversed. You must then stop using the app.

11. Third-party software

EraseMyBG includes open-source components, including ONNX Runtime, BiRefNet and Sparkle, under their own licenses. The full notices are in the app under Settings › About › Acknowledgements.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Your consumer rights under the law of your country are not affected. Questions: info@authoritymartmedia.com.
