This policy covers the EraseMyBG app for Mac and the website erasemybg.com, operated by AuthorityMart Media (“we”, “us”).

Your images

EraseMyBG processes every image on your Mac, using models that ship inside the app. Images you open, edit or export are never uploaded, never stored by us, never analyzed by us and never used to train anything. The app works with Wi-Fi switched off.

What the app sends over the internet

• License activation. When you activate, check or deactivate a license, the app sends your license key and your Mac’s name to Dodo Payments’ license service. The Mac name appears in your list of activations so you can tell your Macs apart.
• Update checks. The app periodically downloads a small update feed from erasemybg.com to see whether a new version exists. This request includes the app version, like any web request includes your IP address.

The app has no analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifiers and no account.

When you buy

Purchases are handled by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. They collect your name, email, billing details and payment information under their privacy policy. We receive your name, email address, country and order details (never your full card number) so we can deliver your license key, provide support and process refunds.

We email your license key using Resend, an email delivery service. We don’t send marketing email unless you’ve asked for it, and you can opt out at any time.

When you contact us

Messages from the contact form or email go to our support inbox. We keep them to answer you and to help with later questions about your purchase.

This website

erasemybg.com uses no analytics, no advertising trackers and no cookies. Our hosting provider (Vercel) processes standard request logs, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver and secure the site.

How long we keep data

Order and license records are kept for as long as your license exists and as required for tax and accounting. Support messages are kept for up to three years. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, unless we’re legally required to keep it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA), you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Email info@authoritymartmedia.com and we’ll respond within 30 days.

Children

EraseMyBG isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above. Significant changes will be announced on this page before they take effect.
